Business is not a website built and left on the web to rot with outdated contents, or ceased
Business is not accepting to be less than the better that your prospective customers sees when they realize what your competitors have to offer.
Business is not about getting complacent with the way things are and becoming immunized to changes needed to grow and succeed. Neither is it reminiscing on the good that things were so much that it forgets that its competitors are now narrowing its lead.
A business must not loose its ambassadorship while its competitors are launching battleships. It must never yield its right to advertise because any business that is not known does not exists.
A business must understand that vacations should not be taken - they should be earned. While you are away getting sandy for the summer your competitor is busy handing candy to your customer.
A business whose referral process is hard will be hard to refer. A business must grow from the inside out and not the outside in, for referral is the heart beat by which a business sprout and therefore the spots where growths begin.
There is no such thing as small businesses and big businesses - every business is a business. Those who runs a business with a small mind will have small businesses but a mind will defines the size and scope of a business.
Business is not about how much money its owners make but business is what you do. It is a consistent inseparable lifestyle that carries over the style and characteristics of its ownership and is a true reflection of such.
Hustlers make money but they fade away with time. A true business is about commitment to services and purpose - it is not a number game or race.
A website is a business's ambassador in a foreign country and the face of a business in its true attire, dressed as for its wedding or prom day ready to represent her against anyone that dear judges. It speaks for the business as an eloquent lawyer and stands out with the rhythm of time. It sings beautifully and words from its lips so swell and solemn with charismatic enrapture, saying welcome to my world. This is how beautiful I can be. This is who I am. This is how beautiful my business is.
Your website makes your business relevant even when your service is not needed. It is your business trophy. It is alright if it doesn't make you money as expected because that does not erase its relevance - at least only for hustlers and not true blooded business people. No business will have genuine respect from its prospects if they become aware that the business is operating without a website It is what is under the hood that counts and not what the surface looks like. Perception is everything in business and people have a tendency to be reluctant to spend money with businesses they do not respect
Every business should own a website and file its costs as a tax expense against the IRS each year. It is the way business works. The IRS already have that as an expense on their filing forms so why should a business not have a website. It is your right and privilege as seen by the IRS. You are not saving any money but just paying more taxes.
The IRS doesn't like a business in hiding and feels that that is what a business is trying to do when they are operating without a website to represent a signature on the web. Its like coming into the building without signing in so now the security guards are out looking for you.
Some folks buy domains but put no website on them. That may be the worst idea because what happens with that is that the search engines sends out their robot once or twice a week to scan the web for all domains and information. When your domain is not indexed and there is no contents there, each time your domain gets scanned your business rating gets lowered and the longer you take to establish that website is the deeper the discount on that domain's ratings.
Now when you finally get around to building your website on that domain, getting it to show up dynamically at a good spot in the search results where it makes some sense is almost impossible.
A website is to be established when the business opens so if, lets say, you are in business for the past 5 years without a website then that's 5 years of prestige taken from your business online. Your business could have been established on the web already because it does takes time for that to happen.
Your website takes about 3 years to rank up on the web and that is not without some work behind it. Anyone can can promise you anything but delivering it realistically is what counts. A plug in that you pay some company for is not ranking because when you stop paying for what ever reason you will have no visibility for your business...
